is an emerging thought leader whose expertise spans local government, education, and leadership development.  His broad experience brings a unique perspective to public service. Over the course of his professional career, Nathaniel has served communities both large and small, holding supporting roles in law enforcement, code compliance, building inspections, and city planning. Nathaniel is a licensed Code Enforcement Officer, a Certified Building Official, an experienced city planner, and maintains several certifications from the International Code Council. Nathaniel holds a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing and industrial management from Tarleton State University, a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Oral Roberts University, and is pursuing his doctorate in education at Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL.  Nathaniel has served as an adjunct instructor at Tarrant County College and serves on the boards of the International Code Council's North Texas Chapter, as well as the Building Officials Association of Texas. 

Outside of his vocation, Nathaniel has over a decade of ministry experience and leads The Foundry DFW, a men's fellowship based in North Texas. 

Nathaniel lives in Fort Worth, TX, along with his wife and two daughters, enjoys teaching leadership development, and advocates for incorporating faith into the practice of public administration.
